Press Release
1. The Rt. Hon. President Bidya Devi Bhandari arrived in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates today on a four-day official visit at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nayhan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
2. Upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport, the Rt. Hon. President was received and welcomed by His Excellency Mr. Nasser Thani AlHameli, Minister for Human Resources and Emirratization of the UAE, H.E. Mr. Saeed Hamdan Mohamed Al Naqbi, Ambassador of the UAE to Nepal, Mr. Netra Bahadur Tandan, Charge D’ Affaires at the Embassy of Nepal and other Embassy officials.
3. The Rt. Hon. President is scheduled to hold meeting with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nayhan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces on 14 November 2017.
4. Dr. Amal Al Quibaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council of the UAE will make a courtesy call on the Rt. Hon. President on 14 November 2017.
5. Similarly, the Rt. Hon. President will meet with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai on 15 November.
6. The Rt. Hon. President will also meet Nepali community at a program organized by Charge D’ Affaires a.i. of the Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi on 15 November 2017.
7. The Rt. Hon. President is scheduled to return home on 16 November 2017.
