PRESS RELEASE
The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has arrived Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) at 2030 hours local time here in connection with an official visit to the UAE at the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces.
Upon arrival at Abu Dhabi International Airport, The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister was received and welcomed by His Excellency Mr. Saqr Ghobash, Minster for Human Resource and Emiratisation of the UAE, H. E. Mr. Saeed Hamdan Mohamed Al Naqbi, Ambassador of the UAE to Nepal, Foreign Secretary of Nepal Mr. Shanker Das Bairagi, Charge d’ Affaires at the Embassy of Nepal Mr. Netra Bahadur Tandan and other Embassy officials.
The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai during his visit to the UAE.
Similarly, the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister will deliver the Keynote Address at the opening ceremony of the World Future Energy Summit and will also attend the honouring ceremony of Zayed Future Energy Prize on 16 January 2017 in Abu Dhabi. The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister is also scheduled to hold official discussions with other high-ranking leaders of the UAE.
Hon. Minister for Energy of Nepal Mr. Janardan Sharma ‘Prabhakar’ has also arrived Abu Dhabi together with the Rt. Hon. Prime Minister to attend the World Future Energy Summit at the invitation of H. E. Mr. Suhil Mohamed Al-Mazrouei, Ministry of Energy of the UAE.
The Rt. Hon. Prime Minister is scheduled to return home on 17 January 2017.
